Calitalia is a labor of love for us.  We bought the restaurant in 2005 with the determination to bring fresh, delicious California Italian comfort food to our guests.  Everything is cooked to order and the kitchen uses only the freshest natural/organic ingredients, purchased from local farmers whenever possible.

From the food to the décor with its bamboo and cork floors and the natural palate of the walls, everything is kept simple and authentic, including the art by local artists.

We started out under the name of Native Cafe, but found our customers were surprised when they entered our beautiful restaurant!  They said the name was confusing and did not reflect the type of food and service that we were providing.  With much support and suggestions, we agreed on a new name and will be fine-tuning our restaurant to match our style of cooking Cali-Italia style in a casually elegant ambiance.

Calitalia is housed in one of the original buildings in the Calabasas Old Town district on Calabasas Road as you enter town.  With its outstanding food and a comforting ambiance, it will leave you wanting to come back again and again!
